Reg: Schedule Line Date-confirmation

Hi Frds,

In my IDES system

1. The schedule lines are preparing after two days from the date of sales order for every sales order.But I want to prepare on the same it self bcoz immediately I want to deliver.

For this I have checked the Lead Time in Sales order & Load & Pick times in Shipping Point(OVXD) also. There is enough material in the plant.

2. when I'm trying to create sales order on saturday or sunday it is displaying that no goods are accepted on the specified date.

For this I have changed the days in factory calender in SCAL.

Plz revert back me with new settings which I should check.

Just in case someone looks at this thread after a long time:

Use VD02 to look at the Unloading Points tab in the General Data of the ship-to customer. There may be a reference to a different Factory Calendar that still shows Saturdays and Sundays as non-working days.

Also look in the same place to see if someone has maintained "Goods Receiving Hours" that may prevent a Delivery from being created for that day.

Hi,

Check if in material MRP view some lead time is entered like: GR Processing Time, Planned Deliv. Time, Tot. repl. lead time, etc.

Further also check some safety stock quantity is entered in MRP 2 view, even though enough stock is available system will not allocate it in sales order & give further schdule line.

Also check in the scope of availibility check in combination of "02 + A", the tick "include safety stock".

If required you can tick it.

Thankx for ur response. I have rechecked the values in MRP VIEWS of material master. I have already removed the values including safety stock also. Even then I checked the Include safety stock in OVZ9 (02+A combination) still there is no change in confirmed schedule line date.

In OVZ9, have you checked the box Check without RLT ?? If not, check that box and then try to create a sale order.

I checked as u said but it is already checked. The quantity available is 95000 & I'm raising order for 1 so I think I need not check all these settings or these settings will have any impact? irrespective of qty available.

Check in VL21 whether any delivery is created and saved without doing PGI for the same material.

For information, the quantity what you have seen in Unrestricted is inclusive of those deliveries which would be listed in the above T.Code

- Check in OVLZ also for the field Pick/pack time wrkdys whether you have maintained any value. It should have been blank

- Ensure that in your Factory Calender, Saturdays are checked

- Go to material master MRP2 view and see what value is maintained for In-House production and GR Processing Time

I have checked OVLZ also as u said but no values are there

In factory calender I have already checked sat& sun. Apart from this should I need to do any thing extra??

In Mater master MRP 2 no values are maintained.

I have gone through ur suggestions Thankx for ur effort. But I didn't get the right solution. I already mentioned that I have checked lead time field(VOV8).

I have checked suggestions from all of you but till now not solved.

Still I'm waiting for the suggestions.

If you have checked all as suggested above you can check in backorder processing (V_RA).

Normally system reserves the existing stock on first come first serve basis to the sale orders. You can check this in MMBE for that material.

Hi,

I have gone through your issue and seen the replys also ,you can follow the sugestions given by them still you cant find the solution .

then ,T.code:vov8 go to your sales document type and decheck the field propose delivery date and save it.

this means that when ever youare going to create the sales order it will ask to confirm delivery date.

First check ur sales Document Type details in VoV8.

Check how many days mentioned in Lead time in Days. If it is mentioned any days remove it.

Second goto material master data - MRP 3 - Total rep. Lead Time.

Remove if any dates mentioned.

If ur problem solved give me points
