ECC to PI 71 sldcheck error messages

I run an SLD check and get the following message.

Calling function LCR_LIST_BUSINESS_SYSTEMS

Retrieving data from the SLD server...

Function call returned exception code 4

=> Check whether the SLD is running!

Summary: Connection to SLD does not work

=> Check SLD function and configurations

.......................

My PI 71 is the SLD and ECC 6.0 does not have SLD.

I ran rz70 and the ECC server is registered in the PI SLD.

Any idea why sldcheck gets this error message

Please check SLD user id and pwd. TCODE - SLDAPICUST. whether its correct or not. If its correct it will work.

Problem solved. It was an issue with both SLD entry missing and SM59 entry on ECC with wrong port number

Hi Mikie,

Check the User and Password in Tcode SLDAPICUST this user shud have profile something like SAP_ALL or slduser and same user should be maintained in Visual Admin --> SLD Supplier.

If not then delete the password and user and maintain it again with correct Host Name in Tcode SLDAPICUST. and run RZ70.It shud work then.
