Linux freeze when install BOE 3.0

Hi all.

I am trying to learn linux and install boe 3.0. I have a host machine of windows xp pro and a guest linux SUSE enterprise 10 running in vmware server. Everytime I try to install boe it hangs/freezes on "running post install actions".

I set the vmware to use 23 gigs so I am not sre if it needs more space or what. Any help is appreciated.
