ABAP: send standard support messages to SAP PI instead of SOLMAN

Hi.

There is standard support message tool in upper menu in ABAP systems (Help -> Create support message). Is it possible to enhance standard ABAP code so that the messages would travel to SAP PI instead of Solution Manager?

There is a BAdI SBCOS001, but it only allows to fill initial field values. The program which sends message does not allow to implement code enhancements.

One thought is that we have to import SOLMAN's FMs into SAP PI and set the source system's support message destination to PI (so that the requests would be directed to PI instead of SOLMAN). Is there some other way to do the same? I would prefer using some outbound proxy interface.

Just out of curiosity... why would you need a support incident to be transferred to PI system?

e.g., an incident is sent to PI system, then to some internal mail server?

Hi Tom.

We have some other system for support purposes (ServiceNow) in our corporate landscape. It will be used instead of SOLMAN for all this stuff.

I think we'll implement a couple of code enhancements to do this.
