Company code

Hi All,

When I am trying to create a company code by copying from the standard, it is giving the error " Enter numeric value only " while trying to save the company code. I want to give alpha numeric value. where can the setting be done so that I can give alpha numeric value?

I know that the company code is created by the FI Consultants, but I want to know why this error is coming when I am trying to create a company code by copying from the Delete, Copy, Edit Company code mode??

hi kaushik

plz specify that from which co. cd. you are trying to copy.

try to copy from 1000 or IN01 or 0001.

I had faced this problem long back.
