Multiple Datasources on Same Custom ECC Table

Hi,

Is it possible to have multiple datasources in BW built on the same custom table in ECC? The delta pointers in ECC would need to update both datasources separately when new records are added. We have already existing datasource on the custom table but don't want to modify it due to risk purposes. We want to build a new custom datasource that will grab the deltas in addition to the already existing datasource.

Is this possible? If so, what is the procedure? What should I be aware of as possible issues?

Hi Kevin,

It depends on how the delta works. Custom dataSource generally used a generic delta build on a date field.

In this case, you can build as many dataSources you want. This is not the table that bears the delta pointer but the dataSource.
