Device/ Full instalation

Hi gurus!!!

While iam creating full instalation(eg31) ,i am getting device data and register data, my reaquierment is only register data,

but iam getting both, and its asking rate type in device data also, how to disable rate type in device data, i mean i must get only register data, only..

can any one plz tel the solution for this..

In the SAP standard NO rate type for the device data is a MUST entry, but only on register level (otherwise mark the register as not relevant to billing). If the device rate type is needed - please check your customizing - either you use a screen variant or something else.

and enter the following values

remove vat ever u had earlier and make entries for this

ur error wil; be solved

actually i forgot the exact control; parameter which is for device data field..u need to just delete that

but since i forgot that i suugest u to copy these stuffs and make entry in urs and remove urs and try it

it will def work

Hi Siva,

There are two parameters to control the rate type in the Installation/Removal/Replacement

RATETDNES (Rate type req. for install. billing (device level))

RATETRNES (Rate type req. for install. billing (register level))

If you don't want the rate type at the device level,Please remove RATETDNES in the Configuration.Then you can perform the installation.

YA SASI U R ABSOLUTELY RIGHT

IN HIS CASE HE NEED TO DELETE RATETDNES

BUT MY QUESTION IS IF U REMOVE RETAEDNES IT WILL WORK FINE,BUT WHAT IF THERE IS ANY DEVICE BASED BILLING????

SINCE U HAVE DELTED RATETDNES U CANT PERFORM THE DEVICE BASED BILLING RIGHT???
