Can we create multiple planning areas for IBP Supply and Response?

Is it possible to integrate multiple ECC system to one IBP supply and response Planning area?

Hi,

Creation of order based planning areas can be possible but order based planning function can be active for only one planning area. Note that once it has been used in order-based planning processes, changing the planning area has substantial effects.

When setting up a planning area for SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) order-based planning, you can use external data sources to define your master data types and key figures. These external data sources contain data replicated from SAP ERP, as well as the results of planning in order-based planning.

If you want to use external key figures, you have to assign an external time series data source to a planning level by selecting External Time Series Enabled, then mapping the key columns of the external data source to the root attributes of the planning level.
