Dear MM gurus,
we have faced with the situation, wherin base unit of measure is maintained in MT in master data and procurement in one of the group companies is happening in CuMeter. With present setting , base unit of measure is defaulted in PR though we maintain alternate unit of measure. Pls provide solution to have alternate unit of measure in PR or choice in selecting base unit of measure or alternate unit of measure.
Thanks
you can only maintain the order unit differnt in differnt plant because unit of measurement is in basic data view and so it is at client level so you cannot have 2 differnt SKU for same material and regarding the ordering unit you can have different one in po sont worry about pr

Hi,
PR will take Base Unit of Measure only as per SAP Standard.

Hi,
You have to maintain alternate unit of measure in purchasing view of material master then active option variable order unit next to that check box in the purchasing view of material master.
