can anyone help me for This workbook can not be opened error occured in sap bpc?

when i was trying book publication through one team then it is working but while i was trying to do same thing from another team then it gives error "This workbook can not be opened ".

so can anyone have some idea about it.

Hi,

I have got solution for this issue.

I have Excel Version 2016 in my system,Therefore it is unable to take Long path as shown in below screenshot.

For Ex:- subfolder in 2 level.

Are you sure the error is related to which team the user who is publishing the workbook is associated with? It may be a false association.

The error "The workbook cannot be opened" often occurs if the workbook you are trying to publish is already opened in the excel client.

Please make sure that no workbooks are opened before executing the Book Publication Wizard and check if the error still occurs.

I have already added security task for ZBusiness_administra task profile you can see on below screen shot.

And one more thing from Zconsolidation_Reporting task i am able to perform book publication when it contains less number of task as compaired to ZBusiness_administra. so why i am not able to perform book publishing from ZBusiness_administra.

And if i am talking about user access so I am a team lead for both the task.

Hi,

Above three highlighted reports in the EFS_Overview template linked to ZTM_Business_Admin folder is generating error as shown in below screenshot.

But when I try to publish the same reports by linking them to ZTM_CONSOL_REPORTING folder,it runs successfully,and it has less tasks as can be seen in the initial screenshots.

I am in both the team(ZTM_CONSOL_REPORTING and ZTM_Business_Admin) as a team lead but when I try to publish the same reports by linking them to ZTM_CONSOL_REPORTING folder,it runs successfully. but through ZTM_Business_Admin is generating error.And I have to publish book from ZTM_Business_Admin.
