com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Issuer of SSO

After creating the Application type JCo, I get the error.

I think I am missing with the setting up of the SSO connection from Portal--> System Adm-> System Landscape... The connection or setting is wrong there.

Do you know what the setting should be?

As mentioned I have created a template with

Dedicated server--> Connector and given the description and then User management and selected Authentication type as SAP Logon ticket and logon method as UDPW user mapping type as admin, user.

how come the connection which I created is working fine in Portal where I can open the SAPGUI within. That means the SSO is working fine, then why the connection fails?

Any settings in VA or while creating the Jco?

MetaData works fine?

There was the problem with the Ticket logon. But instead of ticket I tried giving the userid, passwd( for application data) and the test was ok. Then logged in to portal and everthing worked. But need to check why the Ticket logon is not working.

Thanks buddies for your support and help

check the system connection test and make sure the thrust between the r/3 and portal has been established properly.
