How can we restrict cost center for single user in PA20?

I want to restrict entries to Cost centers by user ID in HR System

i.e, User need to see only to certain cost centers in PA20 but not to any other cost centers in the same company code.

How is this possible through authorizations

Can you explain the process in detail?

Hello Vikash,

There is no authorization check performed directly on the Cost Center field (KOSTL) in the SAP Standard checks. You do have the option of using the VDSK1 field which is an available field in IT0001. Adding to Keith's advice, the other thing to consider if the cost centres correlate to employee group, employee subgroup, etc. E.g. if you are restricting access to execute cost centre those executes might already be in an employee subgroup and you can then use p_orgin to achieve, etc
