The difference between Appraisals found in table T5W8H and tcode OOAM

Hi Gurus,

What is the difference between the appraisal templates found in table T5W8H and those found when accessing tcode OOAM?

I'm more interested in finding out how T5W8H is used.

Full points will be given out.

Hi Olekan Babatonde,

IN SAP there are two different Appraisal systems:

• Appraisal Systems (templates of which are maintained thru T5W8H)

• Objective Setting & Appraisals (templates of which are maintained thru OOAM)

OSA is a newer module released with 4.7 Extension 1.10.

You have to choose one of them to use.

Appraisal Systems can be used in PD, TEM & PA whereas OSA is useful as a PD instrument (360 app, surveys, etc.).

I advise you to use OSA thru OOAM.

However, it requires a lot of programming effort thru BAPIS, etc.

Hey Dilek,

I know how to configure Appraisals using tcode ooam, but i dont understand the 360 appraisals, mbo and different kinds of appraisal methods could you plz explaing with some examples....not f1 documentation....also can these teplates can be used in Training & event?? if so how can we use these in Training & event...aslo in training & event do we have different attendance types or time management..We can create attendance types only in TIme management, for training & event we need to create different attendances??
