Private activities in MSA

Hi

We are just looking to start using the private flag on activities but the check box on the activity details screen is greyed out

Does anyone know why?

I assumed that you would just create an activity as usual and check the box to make it private.

Am is misinterpreting the functionality here?

Thanks

James

    Hi,

The setiing of the private flag I guess is done in customizing(spor). The table CDBC_Activity_h holds the value for this in ides. if the valueiis X then you will see the

private flag getting displayed in the activty tile.

But yes surely if the prvate flag is set then it is meant only locally. It is not meant for replication.

    Thanks,

    Abishek

Hmmnn... I was hoping that it would stop it from going to groupware and take away visibility from employee calendar.

I will raise an OSS to find out why it is not editable at all in our 5.0 system, even before save

      Thanks
