Maintain the chapter ID for material XYZ 'J_1IMTCHID'

Hi,

When i try saving a Sales order, i get an error "Maintain the chapter ID for material XYZ J_1IMTCHID"

However i have maintained entries for the 'Material and chapter id combination' in J1iD. Do i need to make entries at other places too.

Please advise.

In J1ID - Combination of material & Chapter ID - Maintain the material type as a RG1 & mark as X for the indicator whether the material is declared to excise.

maintain the cnevat determination in j1ID and then excise rate for the chap id (taxinj)

Also maintain CENVAT Determination, Customer Excise Indicator and Excise Indicator for Plant and Customer in J1ID.
