Hi All,

while saving bill, the bill is saved but (no accounting doc generated) So I went to vf02 and tried to release to accounting but this error is shown there "for object RF_BELEG(cocd xyz),number range interval 01 does not exist FBN" when I go to fbn1 and try to create interval then it says do not overlap the entries but i am not overlapping it. and the column {Number range obj}is suppressed so I cannot even put the object along with the cocode.

Hello,

Go to transaction FBN1, give the year as 2008, check the number ranges peviously assigned for 01. Check the other number ranges also and maintain the same without overlapping.

Hi All,

I tried to put current fiscal year in 01 and current and new number ranges but still it is still not taking and giving error " enter interval without overlaps" It is not accepting the fiscal year 2008. If i put existing year i.e 1992/1993/1999/2000/2004 then its taking but none of the years other than these.

The number ranges that you are trying to enter are overlapping with another interval range. For eg: If you are inserting 100001 to 199999 and if there is another number range 000001 to 999999 existing then system will not allow that in the same fiscal year. Easiest way out is (in the above example) to change the existing one to 200001 to 999999 and then create the new one 100001 to 199999.

The number range you are trying to use(or part of it) is already in use for the year 2008 for some other number range.

For example if you are trying to give 1000-9999 number range to the 01 number range for the year 2008 and 02 number range already assigned the number range 5000 to 15000, then the error, you have mensioned will appear.

Using SNRO (Object RF_BELEG) of FBN1 t-code

create number range 01 for the relevent fiscal year (Check the posting date of the document which is not getting posted, to find out what is the relevent fiscal year)

Tht means your acounting documents do not have any number range assigned to them. You need to do that in FBN1.
