PM - Number Ranges

Former Member

In Plant Maintenance ,

List of Number Ranges,

1. Create Number Ranges for Measuring points - IK09

2. Create Number Ranges for Measurement documents - IK19

3. Create Number Ranges for Object links - IN20

4. Define Number Ranges for Maintenance Items - IP21

5. Define Number Ranges for General Maintenance Task lists - OIL4

6. Define Number Ranges for Equipment Task Lists - OIL5

7. Define Number Ranges for Task lists for Functional Locations - OIL0.

For the above number ranges there is no possible to maintain Groups. If it is possible, suggest how to maintain groups for differentiating number ranges for different plants.

hi

whatever you have said is correct, you cannot create groups for the objects you said.

the objects you specified is client level maintenance hence you cannot segregate with plant.

Eg:measuring points is identified by equipment and functional location which is defined at plant level hence you can segregate with technical objects

explain why you want to segregate ,we can specify any workaround for that

Thyagarajan,

I have two independent plants. To segregate it for processing i create two different notification types, order types , equipment categories and Maintenance Plans. The same way I want to know individual sequence of format for Measuring point, measurement document, object link, Maintenance Item and Task lists for individual plants.

Is it possible through work around.

hi

if you have created 2 equipment categories then you can segregate the measuring points by equipment itself .

same case for object link ,maintenance item
