actual username logging into XMII not passed to R/3

Hi,

We had a problem..say i logged into XMII and my sap username is ABC.now this abc needs to be availaLE IN r/3 but that did not happen.The user name in R/3 was sy-batch or some other username not tha actual user name. Then SSO ticket had to be set up between my R/3 system and XMII.

Can u explain me this concept of SSO for eg what did they configure that now the actual username logged into XMII is passed to R/3.

Please help me on this concept...

hi,

Actually need to maintain same data (username) table in xMII and SAP. say if your sap name is ABC maintain username table in xMII also. if you want to communicate send data along with logged username.

hi ,

not clear...can we maintain table in xmii and the problem was solved with sso set up...what is the relation between maintaining table in xmii and sso configuration?

please explain in detail..
