Sales Order Delivery

Hi All,

My client wants that if stock not available at a time of sales order creation then system propose delivery date by considering its total production time means time taken to produce it but in such a way that its order start time comes after order finish time of its bom components if they also not available.

Ex.

A needs B as a sub assembly component.

B needs C & D as a sub assembly Component.

C Needs E & D needs F & G as a sub assembly component.

if A not available in stock then system get delivery date in such a way.

Check availability of C & D suppose C is available & D is not then check F & G availability.

F start date is today (TD) & finish date TD+5 days, 5 days F in house production time or planned procurement time.

G start date is today (TD) & finish date TD+4 days, 4 days F in house production time or planned procurement time.

now D start from TD5 days (latest in F & G) & finish TD5+6 days

6 day production time of D.

C is always available so C Available date is TD if it is not then it also calculate like D.

Now A start from TD56 & finish TD56+3 where 3 is production time of A.

Is it possible to get this scenario or this information.

I don't think that it can be solved by w/o user exit.

Hi

Try with strategy group 81 or 82, if you want to meet exactly this scenario.

Other wise some short cut methods like Avaialbility chk with replenishment lead time. but they are not exact.

same thing happen it gives start of order date from today for all levels if i take sales order delivery date today, Top level start date not depend upon finish date of semi finish order.

also in this case all materials be sales order stock so in future we need to make movement 413 which we don't want.

we want that it comes as unrestricted stock.
