Hi,

MD74 tcode used to reorganise the PIR. You can delete the PIR for a particular material, for a particular version within particular period.

Hi Madhu,

By using MD74 you can remove unconsumed PIRs of a perticuller period or Version.System will also remove all the reference Planing Proposals which are generated to that PIRs during the next MRP run.

Hi Madhu,

If the requisition has been created via MRP than you have to delete the PIR from Systen then we use MD74 to delete planned order with the period for reorganisation with variant of the key date prior to your reqs.

Hope clear to you.

Hi,

If the requisition has been created via MRP than you have to delete the PIR from Systen and when you run MRP next time it will delete the Requisition from the system.

Try using MD74and the period for reorganisation.

Come back if any problem.

Hy Madhu.

If i dont delete / reorganize the PIRs through MD74 what shall happen ?

Then it may result in Excess Inventory and also block the capacity.

Forecast base planing is never proven to be 100% perfact,so you have to analyze it time to time and if required remove unnecessarily or unconsumed PIR by using this Transaction.

Dhaval
