What a basis person can do for RFID and AUTO-ID?

I read some postings on SDN about RFID and AUTO-ID.

However they are for ABAPers.

Could you direct me to some links about how to install/deploy/patch/upgrade/configure RFID and AUTO-ID?

In other words, what a basis person can do for RFID and AUTO-ID project.
