Hi,
This has been bugging me for some time.
When I export a report (in the Crystal Reports XI application)
to Microsoft Excel 97-2000 - Data only (XLS)
and I select Options --> Column Width --> Column width based on objects in the: -->Details
(or any other section) I alsways end up with a constant column width of 36 points.
If I select
Constant column width (in points)
and enter a larger column width than 36 points, I get the larger width. But the column width based on objects in any report section radio button never works for me.
This also occurs when I schedule reports in Infoview.
Is there some setting that I don't know about that prevents the export to Excel in varying column widths based on the widths of the columns in the report?
Thanks!
Linda
Linda,
Try exporting with only the options Maintain relative object position, Export PH and PF, and Simplify PH.
