The Excel 2007 spreadsheet I am working with has formulas with more than seven levels of nesting. I have used this spreadsheet successfully with Xcelsius 4.5 Professional with the hotfix and have had no issues.
The Xcelsius Pro 4.5 Application version is 4.2.5.7 and the File Version is 1.1.0.2.
When I try to import the same spreadsheet in Xcelsius 2008, the Excel Compatibility Checker starts and gives me errors indicating "Significant loss of functionality" and that since I have "formulas with more levels of nesting than are supported by the selected file format" the formulas will not be saved and will be converted to "#VALUE!" errors.
It seems that Xcelsius 2008 is trying to open the Excel file in compatibility mode.
The Xcelsius Version is 5.0.0.99 and the Build number is 12,1,0,247.
Since this functionality was available in Xcelsius 4.5, can it be made available in Xcelsius 2008?

Any word as to when this might be fixed?

Richard,
Thank you for the report. I've verified .XLSX files containing formulas with nesting greater than 7 causes these errors when imported or migrated to Xcelsius 2008. I've documented the problem in our system.
