Ztable Changes

Hi,

I made some changes to a ztable like deleting a field and adding few more fields and activated it. What other steps I should follow before moving it to test system.

Thanks,

Veni.

    Hi ,

If you have Table maintenance generator , then you need to regenerate it.

How to regenerate ? Goto to utilities - table maintenance and then clik change button, then check the box - New fields added. Also check the screens related.

Then it will delete the existing screens and then it will regenerate it again.

    Regards,

    Venkatesh

    Hi,

Apart from the process from Venkat, you must adjust the database table. This will adjust the table size and width.

utilities-->database utility->activate and adjust database table.

You may like to work with basis in this regard.

    Thanks

    Kiran

      Hi Shahu,

I was in change mode only. I checked again and still I donot see a change button. There are Create-F6 and Find Screen Num buttons at the top.

The table is in test only. No actual data.

If I transport changes now from Dev to Test, do I get any error?

Can some one please help me.

      Thanks,

      Veni.
