How to create New System from PAR file and create iViews with it?

I want to know how to create iViews to add to Pages from a particular PAR file in SAP NetWeaver 7.1

In the SAP library it only appears information for 7.0. It says the NetWeaver Developer Studio is needed. I'm providing the steps to do this in 7.0. But there are changes in 7.1. I need to know the new steps to create the iViews from the PAR file for this new version.

In version 7.0

-

- System Administration tab -> Support -> Portal Runtime

- Portal Anywhere Admin Tools -> Administration Console

- Archive Uploader area -> Browse the PAR file -> Upload

• In 7.1 it says the tool wil be deprecated.

-

- System Administration tab -> System Configuration -> System Landscape

- On the folder -> New -> System (from PAR)

• In 7.1 This last option is not available

-

- Content Administration

- On the folder -> New -> iView -> Portal component

• In 7.1 The portal component defined in the PAR file doesn't appear

I was able to create the I-View, but I still need to create the New System from PAR to define my user mapping and the system aliases.

Does anybody know how to do this on 7.1?

"Create and upload an XML file describing the system" can do it, I hope.

Creating system from par is not there in CE 7.1. May be you can export XML from older versions and import it into CE 7.1. I am not sure how much it would work. Give it a try and post back if it works.

I created the New -> System (from Template) and defined the alias name. It works fine.
