RETURN DELIVERY ERROR

WHILE DOING RETURN DELIVERY THRU MIGO,I GOT THE FOLLOWING ERROR:

Qty balances are not sufficient in the register

Message no. 4F272

HOW TO RESOLVE THIS?

i think it has something to do with the excise registers and

check out in registers for part 1 entry

how to find if the register is updated or not?

also how to update a register?

for an account assigned po system is definately going to through this sort of error as how can system find the goods for return delivery as there are no goods avilable for that material because for a conumable po the moment you do the GR system will assume that goods has been consumed .

i believe right way to do this is cancel the material document rather then doing the return delivery..........

you r right,but in my gr we have 10 pcs and we want to return 2 pcs.

also we have to the return excise.

try to make use of movement type 102 in that case as i belive you will be able to chnag ethe quantity in there and regarding the excise part i am not in postion to explain any thing

We cannot Change the Qty / Anything while Cancelling Material Document using 102 Mov type. I think you have to Cancel the Total Material Document and Create again.

i believe that we can change the quantity by making use of movement type 102 in migo and yes ofcourse we can not change any thing while canceling material document rather we can not edit any thing in material document

can i do a return PO with reference to the original PO for the 2 pc which i want to return??will it have any adverse effect on the accounting point of view?

forget about the return po thing as this is not possible in case of consumable po.

and close the thread as we have already tried the possible options

can anyone check this:

a PO which has a meterial code and cost centre.tax code choosed is excisable.

goods receipt carried out where capture and post the excise.

now while doing the return delivery with movement type 122 is there any error coming or system is letting to save the material document??
