Special Procurement Key 52

Hi All,

Actually i want to get actual start & finish date considering all BOM levels but want to make them individual & also wants that semi finish material will be free to use sale not restricted for its parent material against which it will generated.

So i plan to use special procurement key 52 so in plan order with lead time scheduling & taking processing & other times based on base qty i will get actual start & finish date.

& plant to convert plan order to production order from bottom level to top level.

I want to know that will it give any measure effect in costing or any other MM or PP process.

Hi,

I have seen that after putting special procurement key 52, it is not considering previous stock of material at sub assembly level & if we convert plan order of bottom level material to production order it will create order for all level material.

can we over come these two things, if we convert plan order of top level then no problem if it create order up to bottom level but it will restrict if we convert from bottom.

main thing that it will consider stock of bottom material if it is available.

R any one have idea.

What is 52 special procurement key in your client?

It is Direct production / collective order .

having Special procurement E In-house production

with Procurement type E In-house production

as bom component it is direct production active.

If you want the semifinished material to be used for some other sales, then why are you using special procurement 52?

If you want to have both functionality of scheduled dates as well as free to use, then try the following

In order type parameters in SPRO, just see that good movement is not automatic(GR and GI). hence you can get the halb material to inventory.

Actually i want to get order finish date of a material with considering its bom levels stock & if there no stock then its production time.

so i will try to use special proc key 52 because it gives header material finish date by considering bom materials production time also.

yes i also get that my purpose will not solve by spec proc key 52.

Ex.

A needs B as a sub assembly component.

B needs C & D as a sub assembly Component.

C Needs E & D needs F & G as a sub assembly component.

if A not available in stock then system get delivery date in such a way.

Check availability of C & D suppose C is available & D is not then check F & G availability.

F start date is today (TD) & finish date TD+5 days, 5 days F in house production time or planned procurement time.

G start date is today (TD) & finish date TD+4 days, 4 days F in house production time or planned procurement time.

now D start from TD5 days (latest in F & G) & finish TD5+6 days

6 day production time of D.

C is always available so C Available date is TD if it is not then it also calculate like D.

Now A start from TD56 & finish TD56+3 where 3 is production time of A.

Is it possible to get this scenario or this information.
