Inability to deactivate a user

Hi,

we have created BP's for Solution manager.

And we have created a Person as General and Employee.

(Path: Business Partner > Create > Person)

We created the person as general and extended to Employee.

5) Create the same user as an employee.

6) In the, u2018Identificationu2019 Tab, enter the User ID, in the User Name field.

now, to deactivate the user, we went to t code BP, selected Person and went to Employee tab, there in the 'identification' tab, if remove the user ID, the user gets deactivated.

But when we go in change mode, the field is greyed out, and we cant change.

Pls advice
