material selection screen

Hi Gurus,

I am trying to substitute the material where the substitute material should explode below the parent item. I want the screen to be populated for material selection to select the available materials where I am not able to do currently and it is being substituted automatically below the parent item. Please let me know the relevant configuration to be done.

hi,

kindly go to spro-sales and distribution-basic functions-material determination-- substitute reasons-in this substitute reasons u remove the check mark from the outcome column.After removing u select strategy column.make sure only one strategy column is selected and save it

Then go for sales order it will work.

Hi,

This is because the relevant configuration of making available material for selection is missing.

For this Goto SPRO - Sales and Distribution - Basic Functions - Material Determination - Define Substitution Reasons

In this you have substitution reasons like ZZZZ which you while maintaining VB11 master record.

Here make entries like this:

subs reason Desc Entry Warning Strategy Outcome Sub

ZZZZ xxxx blank blank A blank blank

This will surely solve your problem
