time management issue

Hi,

3 queries plz help..

1) If employee works 20days 1 day leave has to be generated

2) CL Absence entitlement per year is 6 and should be generated only on July 1st of every month, once if it reaches "100" system should not allow further additions. Limit is 100 for encashment.

3) career planning should be done based on Employee group & sub-group criteriz...

4) any documents on PD or Training Management...

    Hi Arun,

    both the pdf documents are related to 4.5 version. There is lot of difference between 4.5 & 6.0. If possible can send 6.00 Version..

    also let me know what is the difference betwen r/3 intranet ESS/MSS & Portal ESS/MSS...

      Hi Swetha,

      The difference is not there in R/3 ESS and MSS and portal ESS and MSS. In R/3 required configuration is done for ESS and MSS and The configuration which is done is connected to portal through RFC, Webdynpro and JAVA. What ever data u update in Portal ESS and MSS that will automatically update in R/3. Any tabs you need to have in portal should be configured in R/3 that will reflect in portal. There is no R/3 ESS and MSS and Portal ESS and MSS. Only we call it as ESS and MSS.

    1.You can do this by a PCR.You need to create a quota for these leaves and you have to generate this quota through the time evaluation.

    PCR should check the days of work.Please let me know if you need help with writing the rule.

    2.Do you mean to say that 6 days(or hours?) of CL should be generated on every July 1st of the YEAR?

    For this scenario,you need to write a rule.You can set the limit either by rule or the table T559P.

    Hi Venkat,

    r u sure that we need to create a rule for 20days attendance, 1 day absence??? i think we can do this by standard sap, without pcr... plz suggest...

    also, for 2nd scenario where quota cumulation should be stopped once it if reaches 60 days, can u guide me how to write a pcr..

      Hi Swetha,

      for ur second scenario,just u have to write PCR for that

      d VARSTCURMO

      07 HRS*48 ADDDB9000 (9000 is time type)

      the above PCR is for CL For 6 days which should be evaluated only on july 1st.This time Type will be created especially for PArticular Abscence Quota which u have been linked thru V_T559L table.When ever u hire the personnel ,it will automaticaly generate on july for 48hrs.
