Pick List - with partial delivery

Former Member

Hi there,

we have got a little problem about pick & pack. partial delivery is not checked for all our costumers. if you register a purchase order for two articles, one on stock and one isnt on stock, the pick and pack manager split the orders like partial delivery.

is it possible, that those orders are not displayed in the pick and pack manager ? i only want to pick complete orders.

regards

Its a bug, not a feature.

Steffen,

Yes you can do that in Pick/Pack Manager without any customization.

In the first window of Pick/Pack, set the fullfillment % to 100% for both the from and to fields.

This tells the Pick?Pack Manager to only show you orders you can ship 100% of.

Many clients of ours use Pick/Pack this way.

They first run it to see all orders they can ship 100%.

Then they do BPs of a certain priority for partial ships.

Then they run it for the next priority down, and so forth.

This ensures 2 things:

1. They ship everything that can be 100% shipped first, every day

2. For all partial ships, they want to take care of high priority customers first

Hope that helps,

Brad Windecker

This tells the Pick?Pack Manager to only show you orders you can ship 100% of.

This would be nice, but it is like that. I entered in the "from / to" field 100% and group my purchase by order. But i exactly know there are displayed orders, which are not possible to deliver about 100%.

i.e. Order #52 included 1 article out of stock, the out of stock article is not displayed, but the other articles of this purchase are display. (In the order and in the costumer is partial delivery not allowed)

Dear Mr Kamphoff,

First of all I would like to be sure about the terminology used: you are speaking about Sales orders, right? not purchase orders?

According to my testing, if I add 100 and 100 in the fields of the fullfilment I cannot see a sales order where one of the items does not qty in stock.

does not that work for you? Please, if it doesn't work, can you specify the version, patch and localization you are using?

Thank you,

i am sorry, of course i mean sales order.

ok here we go...i.e.

I create an order with two or more articles. (i.e. Article A = on stock, B out of stock, and partial delivery is permitted) I take stock management -> pick and pack -> pick and pack manager

there i choose status = open, group by document, delivery date = today, fulfillment from 100 to 100 and one warehouse (1) and it is sorted by doc numbers.

-> OK

I see a list with the open orders and articles with 100% fulfillment. There i see all my order with all articles but the out of stock articles. So you can't release to pick list, cause your order consists of one article, that is out of stock.

i think the system tests the out of stock article in orders to late.

am i wrong ?

hi there,

here we go again. Next funny behavior of pick and pack:

you have got a list about 100 sales orders, all of them and all articles 100% available.

If i choose all of them for pick and pack, i got the message that a few articles are not available.

But if i make 2 lists of this 100 sales orders, no message is posted and everything is pick and pack.

Has anyone an idea. It is not useful to get 2 or more lists.
