Workflow with rules

Hello Friends,

My requirement is to notify certain users whenever the value in the PO crosses a certain amount and display the PO if required. I am trying to achive this functionality without any coding.

So I created a template with a ""user decision" to see if the user wants to display the PO and it uses the generic task- decision

I also created a rule with the PO amounts and agent responsibilities. I used tihs rule as an expression in my workflow template for that "user decision" step.

I do nothing if the user chooses not to display the PO, however I created an "activity" with BOR BUS2012 and method display.. and used it in case the user wantss to display the PO..

My problems

1. I would like event triggering _ creation of PO to start the Wflow.. I tried to do it with the generic task.. it does not seem right

2. The PO is never displayed in the end after I simulate my workflow.

I usually do not do workflow so this is a little confusing for me.. I would appreciate your suggestions and comments and would definitely award each effort.

Thanks

Well, I am working on somethin similar.. so

1. Your event would be a strat event, hence when you see teh graphic model of your workflow template.. go to ... ""GOTO">> Basic Data in teh menu bar and click the strat events tab.. you can define the creation of PO here.. You should not do it for the generic task.

2. The PO will be displayed if its is a general task.. got to PFTC and execute your task.. up in the additional data in teh menu bar again.. click on agent assignemnegt and make it a general task.. that should help
