I would like display on the template the name of the query in English and in the user' s language.

I have enter the translation in the translation Environnement (SE63)

Currently the user has the name of the query in his language.

I have create a second text item containing the query description and I would like forced it in English

Can you help me .

Thanks for your help

Céline

Unfortunately, the description of the query (and all texts language dependant) are only displayed relative to the user's language.

For your problem, you maybe could create a table in your system, containing technical name of the query and description (or use the "standard" texts functions), and create a text variable filled by customer exit.

Table for texts of the queries is RSZELTTXT, table containing the query ELTUID is RSZELTDIR, technical name of the query is held in MAPNAME.

You can hard code the query to be in a different language (but not as far as I know mix and match)

In the application string of the web template in the portal put in language - ZH (for example)

I do this for a hard coded EN BW portal for which a small number of queries are Chinese
