Check the partner function procedure and how the specific partner function is configured. It is possible that the partner function is configured to display as something different thatn BP number.

Please check the mapping of your CRM partner function to ERP partner function. may be the mapping for the partner function at CRM side is missing, due to which
distribution is not successful.
path:
TR:SPRO> IMG> Customer Relationship Management --> Basic Functions --> Partner Processing -->Data Transfer
