Cross-plant CM.

Hi,

I have an entry in cross-plant CM field in basic data-2 tab for material A. I want to delete the entry in this field and keep it blank, but this field cannot be changed now. How can I delete this field from material A.

Hi,

Go to CU42, enter material code and delete the Configurable Profile for that material by clicking on Delete button and Save. Then check in MM02.

This is not possible. The senario here is,

I have material A and B. Materail B has a configuration profile. Material A is a varient of material B. So in basic-data-2 for material A, I have entered material B (in cross-plant CM field). Now, I want to delete this entry from material master of A. But, I do not want to delete configuration profile of B.
