No switch to HTTPS occurred, so it is not secure to send a password

Hi,

I am publishing my services through Integrated ITS, I choose system logon. Now when I test the service I get this warning

"No switch to HTTPS occurred, so it is not secure to send a password"

I understand I can hide this message, but I am really worried if this can cause a problem or expose the password of the user. Can you please let me know why we come across these issues and how to resolve them.

Hi...

Try this....make sure your Portal URL is fully qualified. Like it should be http://portal.company.com:50000/irj. instead of http://portal:50000/irj

Hi Padmanaban,

Currently we are in sandbox (testing) system. So our URL is like http://portal:50000/irj. Definitely in DEV system we will go for fully qualified domain name. I will see if it doesnt give that message.
