Material marked for deletion

Hello,

A particular material is marked for deletion, but then when i put the same in sales order it does allow me to save the sales order. it give a warning message that :material is marked for deletion/; message number is v1401 i want to make this warning message as error message , kindly some on eplease guide me how to go about it.

Requirement; Material marked for deletion when entered in sales order should not allow to save the so

Hi,

It will allow you to use the material and give Warning Message and you can not convert it to Error message.

Better assign the Plant material Status in Basic Data 1 view of material master.

In OMS4, maintain the Blocking Key and here block material for the relevant area and if you want to block the material overall then assign the error message indicator to all the fields.

And to Block material for sales, create key in SPRO > Logistics - General > Material Master > Settings for Key Fields > Data Relevant to Sales and Distribution > Define Sales Statuses > And then assign in the Sales Org Data 2 view in Material Master.
