to calculate production loss due to delay in net sales realization term

Dear all,

I have one PLANT CONTROL REPORT with me. In that report, I have the Delay time for various Delays happening in the plant.

NOW MY CLIENT WANTS THAT THE LOSS OF PRODUCTION DUE TO DELAY SHOULD BE REPORTED IN NET SALES REALISATION TERMS (NSR).

I have the production figures for the day. I can get the Average NSR per ton from another report.

Problem: I can not co-relate between loss in production due to delay and the NET SALES REALISATION (NSR) i.e in Financial terms.

please help me.

Thanks in advance

with regards,

Rupesh

Well, in order to correlate the two, atleast get them on the same unit of measure... either derive a production loss in tonnes for that month/day and/or derive the NSR in tonnes for that month/day and then multiply the two...

Come back with additional info if this sounds too simplistic.

    Cheers.
