LSMW for OM object

Hi,

What are fields should I maintain in spreadsheet to upload Org structure in SAP. And I want to use internal number range assignment for my org units.

HI,

You can use the following fields for uploading OM data. Also tell me what are all objects do you want to upload using LSMW.

1. Object abbreviation, 2. Object Name, 3. Relation ship, 4. Related object, 5. ID of related object.

I am uploading Org Units and Position. I have planned First i will upload Org units. Should I keep the number range for org units internal.

Hi,

Yes you can keep internal number ranges for all OM objects. If you have less then 20 org. units you can create manually using PO10 T.Code, if more then that go head with LSMW.

But use relation ships between: O to O A 002, S to S A 002, S to 0 A003.

I am in the 2nd step of LSMW (Maintain source structure). How to maintain it.

Hi,

I am assuming that you have completed the first step (i.e. the recording).

In the second step just click on "change- Display" you will get the create icon, create and you will get a pop up to enter the structure name and decsription, enter the details accordingly.

The cursor will automatically go to 3rd step. Enter the field details which were recorded in the first step in the space provided.

For the same you can use the BDC object for the T-code PP01 likewise to upload these objects as is easy as compare to LSMW steps..

I am in the last step of LSMW i.e. 'Run Batch Input Session'

I am getting an error msg

No Authorization for processing session IT0000_CREATE online

What authorization I need to execute this step.

I am uploading the Action IT for 100 employees.
