Device type transport

Hi,

Need to know how do I transport a device type to production system.

When I do the export / import it needs the client to be opned which is not advisable in prodcution system.

Hence will need to know how do it without opening up the client .

As far as i know "Device types" are not transportable.. so your procedure is correct... basically you'll need to open your system for a couple of minutes to import the device type to your productiion system
