Ageing of Material in Initial Upload

Hi,

while uploading the Inventory in Production we awant to Track the Material ageing. How can we Track it ?? Is there any field where we can capture the Data & ageing should be calculated based on it ??

Hi,

yes you can do that by maintaining the SHELF LIFE EXPPIRATION DATE CHECK....But mostly it is used in case of food industry, pharmacitical industry..etc..where product ageing is req. to check.....

I m in Manufacturing industry.All my materials are not subjected to Shelf life????

Then you can only trace it via material docs posted in and out of production dept...

If req. could maintain the text note defining the strating age date....
