Sales Order Creation

Hello SDN members:

when creating a sales order, the system gives a error message

"Not Authorized to Enter Orders - Please contact customer Care"

What transaction is it, where I can maintain user id details (as a sales Order Person),

in order to create a sales order

It seems that u r not authorised to create the sales order. Please put /nsu53 when u get the error in menu and take the print sceen and sent to the basis team for the authorisation.

This will help to slove yr problem

Hi there,

Pls contact your SAP Basis / Security team for authorisation issues.

Also you can see in SU01 what authoprisations your user Id has.

hi,

Use the t code SU01 enter the required user name and press F8.

it will take you to the new screen there you need to select address tab and maintain title(Mr), first name and last name and then hit enter key three times, and then select logon data tab and enter the password(123) then hit enter key. Finally select profiles tab and enter SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW in different rows, press enter save the data. Now you check with sales order.

Hi Eshwar,

As per authorization matrix every user have specific authorization to run the transacation. If they dont have authorization then system not allow to run the ransaction. for authorization matrix please contract basis Adminstrator.

For running any transaction , You need to have first permission to run tht and after that your BAsis team can do config for your user id and they can allow you to do this.

As far as possible dont do it without Basis help . SU01 is authorised to them only.

Hi Eshwar,

The error is because of your are not authorized to create sales order. Authorization are controlled by profiles in tcode SU01. I hope this will help you.
