what are the configuration steps for creating cost centres

or menupaths

or t.codes

Hello,

Before creating a cost center, you need to make sure that the controlling area is defined and assigned to the company code.

The transaction code for creating a cost center is KS01, don't forget to check the controlling area while creating a cost center. Enter the necessary details and save (check the validity period also).

Enter t-code KS01,

Enter your reference cost center from which cost enter you want to copy data.

Enter controlling area, Valid from to Valid to date duration.

Enter cost center code then click on master data tab.

Then enter other required detail for your cost center.

i did that it is saying that controlling area xxxx does not have standard hierarchy (Please assign one)
