Hi

Can you please explain basic usage and as well as in detail of Evaluation Path. If its clear and understandable the fullest points would be awarded. (I am looking for a very basic Knowledge)

Again Thanks for your basic Explanation of Evaluation path.

Could you please show me some evaluation paths created with the explanation of how it is created (step by step) and the purpose of evaluation of path. Please consider a tuffest Evaluation path and as well as simple one as example to explain.

Hi Vinoth,

Evaluation Path is basically the group of organizational objects in a particular order.

It refers to, in what detail you wanna see the report.

e.g. In order to see the organizational units (top- and bottom-levels included) you need to use O-O-O. The depth determines until which subling you wanna continue reporting.

e.g. O-S-P evaluation path is used to get the people assigned to an organizational unit through their positions.

In other words, evaluation path determines the way of seeing the organizational chart.

As there are many details in organizational chart, evaluation paths are useful to make people get exactly the information they need from the complex chart. i.e. Out of the same complex chart, one can get the organizational connections only while another can get the reporting order.
