why is a skipped inspection lot still blocked?

Hi,

I have an inspection lot with the following status: REL SKIP QLCH HUM

for the material, the 'Skips allowed' and 'Automatic UD' flags have both been set.

What could be a reason for the inspection lot still being blocked?

What do you mean by blocked? Do you mean it's not being processed by your auto UD?

Could be several reasons.

The first one is to check the program variant you are using with the batch job and make sure the indicator "Auto. UD for skipped lots" is set.

The second is to make sure the inspection type setup for material has the indicator "Auto UD allowed" set.

Next, verify you don't have some ungodly long skip lot wait time defined in the QM config settings for the plant.

Also make sure you have at least one characteristic in the lot. I beleive if you have no characterisitics it might not allow a UD.
