Facing errors while accessing Hana XS Odata service in Web Ide

Hi all,

I am facing an error "403 Forbidden" while accessing XS Odata service in web Ide.

Odata service is working fine in browser, Configured HANA system in Cloud connector. Connection status in HCP is successful.

Come across similar post,

But it doesn't help me, I have configured resources in cloud connector.

I can able to access normal odata service from S/4 hana system, but only while trying to access XS Odata from Hana database I am facing issues.

Can anyone please assist me?

Hi Srilaxmi,

Look's like an authorization issue.

In Backend system,activate the SICF Services mentioned here .

In SAP Web IDE, ensure your destination's WebIDEUsage has odata_abap,odata_gen and odata_xs.

I have given all the resources which you have provided in the above mentioned link.

and in the destination I tried by giving odata_abap,odata_gen and odata_xs. But still I am facing same error.

While configuring back end system, I have chosen back end type as "SAP HANA"Is this correct? because I am trying to access xs odata which is developed using hana schema tables not the abap tables.

Any idea how I can resolve?

Hi Rehan,

when I selected Hana system under service catalog, I am facing the below error in networks tab.

The back end connection is reachable when I checked in destination. Is there any other configurations are needed in my Hana system to access XS odata?
