Hi experts,
Source files are not generated after the full generation of the MSC application.
Without these source files, I cannot debug an application now.
Please help me.
Regards,
Praveen
Hi Kai,
We are on MSA 5.0 SP05. Generation settings are fine, they are mapping to the respective folders.
Industry template -- ITconsumer Packaged Goods
UI settings
Project -- MSC
Target folder -- D:\Program Files\SAP\Mobile\App.Net\
I tried restarting the machine and generating the whole application. Still it throws an error that few .vb files are missing.
Please help me to resolve this issue. Is there any standard way to rectify these errors?
Any documentation on resolving the errors while generating the application would help.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Praveen.

Hello Praveen
Kindly follow below the steps to resolve the issues.
1.Rename the MSC folder present in Mobile\App.NEt folder.
2. Make sure that you have applied the notes 1100576 and 1122862.
3. Open MAS and Go to Generation settings.
4. Uncheck the incremental generation option if it is enabled.
5. Business Logic page, seect the industry template
6. User interface page, select the application you wnat.
7. Ensure that 'Generate All' option is checked in both Business logic and user interface pages.
8. Now click on 'Apply'.
9. Go to Build ->Generate All.
Best Regards
Shankar
Which version are you on? Did you check the generation settings, esp. the file names and the directories?
Depending on your release and tools you use it might be necessary to reboot or at least log off / log on before generation because some tools still have a link open on the files so that they cannot be replaced by the newer version.
