holding of documnets is temporary document.during the holding of documnt no postings takes place.during the holding of documnets system wil not pick up origanl document series

parking of document is arrises for authorixation reasons

during the parking of docmunt system wil pick up original documnet series and during the holding of docmunt no postings tales place in the books of accounts

sample documnt is reference documnet. it is a model to origanal documnt

for ex whre transaction satisfied basic condition of fixed amonu and fixed date is called as sample document

Hi

Parked Documents

You can use document parking to enter and store (park) incomplete documents in the SAP System without carrying out extensive entry checks. Parked documents can be completed, checked, and then posted at a later date.

When documents are parked, transaction figures are not updated.

Data from parked documents can however be used for evaluations by the system. For example, amounts from parked invoices can be used for the advance return for tax on sales and purchases. Using payment requests, parked invoices can be paid punctually and without loss of discount.

Document Holding

When you are entering data, you may be interrupted, or you may not have all the data you need for entering a document, for example the appropriate cost center.

In this case, you can temporarily save the data you have entered, and then continue with the document entry at a later time.

If you want the system to hold a document, it does not have to be complete. Account balances are not updated and the document data is not available for evaluation. A document number is not assigned

Recurring Documents

Periodically recurring entries posted by the recurring entries program create recurring documents. This process is comparable to the standing order you give to your bank to deduct your rent, premium payments, or loan repayments.

Business transactions that are repeated regularly, such as rent or insurance trigger recurring entries The following data never changes in recurring entries:

Posting key

Account

Amounts

Sample Documents

You use sample documents as templates when manually entering a document. Sample documents are used to propose values for the data fields in manually-entered documents. The use of sample documents is beneficial if you need to enter many documents that are similar to each other.

I hope this helps.

Hi,

Recurring Document is created when the data is fixed and the amount is fixed. Example rent, Hire purchase instaments etc.

The procedure is comparable with a standing order by which banks are authorized to debit rent payments, payment contributions or loan repayments.

Sample Documents:

Special type of reference document. Data from this document is used to create default entries on the accounting document entry screen.

Unlike an accounting document, a sample document does not update transaction figures but merely serves as a data source for an accounting document

Hi

The basic difference between held document and parked document is that a held document prompts the user to enter an external document number whereas a parked document assigns an internal document number.

Hi,

-Held document-

When you are entering data, you may be interrupted, or you may not have all the data you need for entering a document, for example bank charges or the appropriate cost center.

In this case, you can temporarily save the data you have entered, and then continue with the document entry at a later time. If you want the system to hold a document, it does not have to be complete. Account balances are not updated and the document data is not available for evaluation. A document number is not assigned.

-Parked document-

You can park data relating to customers, vendors, G/L accounts, and asset accounts. There is a fast entry function for G/L accounts. For assets, you can only enter acquisitions. Furthermore, you can park tax information and special sales, but you cannot park special sales for bills of exchange or down payments.

In contrast to document parking, the holding documents function is merely designed to allow you to interrupt your work on a document and temporarily save the data you have entered until you can resume posting. The system does not issue document numbers for documents that are held. Furthermore, you cannot use data entered in this way for evaluations.
