Hi Boss,

I'm using CR XI, I have a report which display everything proper on the screen. BUT when i export to text file

TotalPageCount and PageNofM function doesnot work.

I need it in my report. Pls help me to solve it or advise some alternative to achieve it.

I'm using Text Export for Dotmatrix Printing.

In the meantime, put the total page count in a formula,

display this formula on the report, and you should be able

to see the output of the formula on your exported report.

...do the same thing with pageNofN

I tried putting TotalPageCount and pageNofN inside formula.

On the screen it looks fine but while exporting to text file it does not comes.

Hi Sohrab,

There are some export limitations in Crystal Reports. The issue is a known limitation.

For more information, search for the document cr10_exportlimitations.zip (Features Supported by Export Format in Crystal Reports version 10) which explains the limitations in exporting to different formats from Crystal Reports:

It applies to CRXI as well.
