Hi everyone,

I have been asked to provide the instance ID or domain name of the instance, and I wanted to know how to retrieve them and what is exactly their meaning.

Thanks,

Federico

Hello Federico, please help us better understand your question. Are you talking about IoT Service for Neo or CF environment [1]?

Hello Federico,

an instance id is in there in the IoT URLs (first part of the URL). API Service URL is taken as an example:

https://abc.eu10.cp.iot.sap/iot/core/api/v1/doc/#

"abc" is an instance ID here. All instances follow the same format (landscape id "eu10" may differ). So, it could be retrieved from there.

Please, be advised that there is an "About API" exposed [1] which could be used to get instance specific configuration parameters like processing services enablement flags, instance version, update date etc.

Hope this helps,

Anton
